Heather Klindworth
Heather has worked in campaign and nonprofit work for ten years, and brings to this project significant experience with building and managing large coalitions, directing campaign teams, and developing and managing budgets. Heather has a Master’s Degree in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University in Washington DC. In addition to her role with Sage, Heather serves as the Director of Development at Blueprint Campaigns, a nonprofit professional development organization for candidates and campaign staff.

Emily Wellen
Emily first started working in politics as a field organizer with Obama‘s 2012 reelection campaign. She went on to work on progressive issues and with progressive organizations around the country. She has worked on policy campaigns and ballot initiatives, as well as candidate campaigns at the municipal, state, and federal level. She served as the MN Political Director for America Votes during the 2016 presidential election. In 2017 she co-founded Minnesota Youth Collective, an organization focused on building the political power of young Minnesotans.
