• Developing standard operating procedures around venue sales and event management.

• Building out a plan based on potential scenarios and likely complications to address.

• Material creation such as menus, directional signage, sales sheets, table tents, menu inserts, and graphics.

• Digital tool development for Squarespace, Tock, Toast, EventBrite, TripleSeat, Airtable, and Zoom.

• Managing venue-vendor relationships (e.g. performers, AV specialists, chefs, etc.)

• Creating an educational story-telling tour program.

• Managing large-scale and semi-private event rental sales and service.

• Creating a regular event calendar and coordinating things like happy hours, classes, and live music.

multi-day retreats and trainings

The Sage team can support the process from start to finish: planning, participant communication, vendor coordination, travel logistics, onsite management, and debrief. Our team has organized multi-day team retreats for nonprofits, small businesses, and national foundations. These projects include-

• Conducted 6 multi-day staff onboarding trainings, including logistics, agenda, and material development, over a two month period in the Twin Cities metro area.

• Managed all logistics for a 2-day-long training for 150 organizing staff and supported on the development of the curriculum, training materials, and strategy in the Twin Cities metro area.

• Planned and managed all logistics for a 4-day-long staff retreat in Missoula, Montana, including lodging, meals, meeting space, and entertainment.

Fundraisers and Galas

Our team has organized small and large-scale political campaign fundraisers, nonprofit galas, organizational launch events, and networking events.

Private Events and Weddings

Our team has planned weddings at various venues throughout Minnesota, including Garten Marketplatz in Byron and Brother Justus Whiskey Company in Minneapolis.

Virtual Events

Our team has extensive experience planning, facilitating, and supporting virtual trainings, meetings, retreats, and discussions. This experience includes-

• Developing and conducting a virtual training for director-level staff on management best practices.

• Running ongoing virtual training two times weekly through the election cycle for organizing staff.
